Ballyliffin Golf Club
Ballyliffin is a star in the world of golf. Visitors arrive from around the world to play on the two remarkable links courses. In June 2008 Ballyliffin Golf Club hosted the Irish Seniors Open as part of the European Seniors Tour.

The links courses at Ballyliffin have received the highest accolades from top golfers. Nick Faldo described the course as "the most natural golf links... a hidden gem." Fred Daly described it as "a real Jewel."

Two outstanding, contrasting links courses and 36 wonderful holes make up Ballyliffin Golf Club. The Old Links undulates in the glory of its natural terrain, presenting an immensely enjoyable challenge to every golfer. The new Glashedy Links is fashioned around the incredible dunes, and is already notorious for its peat rivetted bunkers and its opening three challenging par fours. The expansive panoramic views of countryside, coastline and ocean savoured by these magnificent links courses will not easily be forgotten.

Doagh Famine Village
In brief, the Famine Village is an outdoor museum that tells the story of life in the area from the Famine back in the 1840s, through the 1900s to the present day. Different to any other tourist attraction in Ireland the Famine Village depicts life in Ireland as it was, interspersed with humorous anecdotes of Irish life. Each year, as the festive period approaches, Doagh Famine Village is transformed into Donegal's very own Lapland, Santa's Island. Both children and adults alike can enjoy and participate in the magic of this enchanting, festive experience.
